That's why someone like Robin Williams choosing to go made such a positive impact on my desire to CTB. He discovered he was on the losing end of a very serious degenerative dementia and took himself out before it could melt his brain.

He wasn't just funny, he was smart and used his intelligence to save himself pain. He's a true hero from every angle.

I'm suffering, maybe not as rapidly deteriorating as he was, but the option is there to be free of all pain if I just reach out and take it. It's always there as an option.
But the media still fail to acknowledge this often. I've read various articles about his depression and resultant suicide with no mention of the lewis body dementia that was literally eating away at him! This would have been the driver for him to take control ffs.

I told my husband years ago about my pain sometimes causes me to wish I were dead, he said “If you kill yourself, I’ll kill myself too, and imagine the heartache that will cause our family.”
I had an ex-friend tell me that my depression was “bumming her out, and I should stop it.” Same friend, different day told me I should just go ahead and kill myself since “you’re no fun to be around anymore”, just because I told her I couldn’t drink due to my meds. (I was taking Amitriptyline at the time). Luckily she moved away. I wasn’t mentally ready at that point in my life to separate myself from her toxicity. She was the only “friend” I had during this time in my life, and I didn’t want to be alone.
Can’t believe she told you to go ahead and kill yourself...

This isn't exactly a anti-suicide advert but its something everybody says, ''You're not alone''. This is so dumb like why are you telling me I'm not alone other people who feel like me can't save me.
Another thing is ''Life gets better'' this could be true because nobody can tell the future but I heard someone say this ''if it wasn't better then why would it be better now''. So that last quote is my mindset really.
I don't think it'll get better for the vast majority of people. I'm not even sure where that idea comes from. If anything you keep the same problems but get older and weaker with time.

Basically any form of trying to talk you out of it or disregarding how you feel. That’s why I find it completely pointless to talk about my feelings with my family or others cause they don’t feel or understand the pain in your own individual body. Best to ctb without anyone knowing / away from people because they will try to stop you and maybe turn you into a vegetable depending on your method used.

It could also get worse so. ...

Regarding the not being alone bit, I used to feel a little good about that but for a long time now it's just been another unhelpful phrase. Simply cause I realized how little anything changes despite the fact. It's still nice to be able to talk about this to someone without the judgment of non-suicidal people.

"If everyone who had a bad experience in life committed suicide there would be no one left on the planet"
Lol Pretty sure the planet would be okay with that.
"WHAT WOULD YOUR FUTURE CHILDREN WAITING IN HEAVEN THINK?" NO. FUCKING. JOKE. I think I was 17
Lol “How do kids go from heaven to being fetuses in the womb?”, would have been my question!!!

Christian's publicity on interner and on the streets. I'm from a third word country, according to statistics 95% of guatemalan people are religious...

"You should be thankful for living because somebody else would love to be in your place."

Is one of the worst I've ever personally heard given how it just disregards all the issues you are dealing with and tries making you feel guilty for stuff you can't really control.
