I didn’t eat/drink for nearly 4 months and didn’t die, just ended up in the hospital unable to walk. Every body is different but I do not recommend this method if you don’t have an extended period of time without someone intervening.

I forgot if i asked you if you tried lorazepam. It is a benzo drug which yours is not, and it is what saved my life by !etting me sleep when i had the terrible tinnitus. I think your drug is also called Lunesta and i think that's the one the had the opposite effect on me. I couldn't sleep a wink with it. QLorazepam is also supposed to be for short term use but many people, including me, have very succesfully used it for years.

I'm not even sure it improved or my brain totally cancelled it out. I hate to talk about it because now i hear it again hissing away, but when I don't specifically think about it i have zero consciousness of it even in totally quiet environments.

Did u take a large enough dose of lorazepam?

Do you think my trick of making it work for me might work for you - lying there going to sleep hearing the raucous hissing and pretending I'm in an interstellar space ship sleeping by the outer wall listening to the atoms of the universe zip by, the sound of space going by at a far faster than light speed? I came to love it!
