Thin mints are the worst girl scout cookies. The smores are next. So artificial.
Mint chip ice cream is gross.
Orange Starbursts are the best kind.
Sex seems overrated a lot of the time (keep in mind this is coming from an asexual person.)
Pickles belong on burgers.
Mustard and mayo are better with fries than ketchup-I've been Germanized.
Mooncakes are the best dessert. Specifically the lotus paste ones.
Social media isn't worth it, sit-com moms are THE worst, and professional athletes shouldn't be put on a pedestal by all the obsessive Americans over here.

I think we are being waaaaaay too careless about posting methods in the titles of our posts. This is something I have been wanting to say for awhile. I don't know that there is anything we can really do about it. Whenever I see a post "My ____ Arrived today" or something similar, I get concerned.
I feel that it's going to make it harder for people to get _____ method. Also there are those of us who have our method and either haven't been able to go through with it or those who aren't ready yet.
I'm probably guilty of it as well … I honestly can't remember. I do post links (within our forum) to help members. I don't even know if I should have made this post here. I just didn't want to start a new thread about it.
I know there are Mega Threads for methods, I guess not everyone knows about them.

If I shouldn't have made this post … feel free to delete it.

I think (saying as a black person) that the best way for black people in America to get out of poverty is to marry whites.

Before anyone get's triggered, it seems that colorism is a thing and lighter skinned blacks are favored moreso than darker skinned blacks. Also the black people targeted by police are really dark.

If you think about the successful black people in America like Beyonce, Rihanna, Pharelll Williams, Oprah, Dwayne Johnson, and even Obama. Most of them are not fully black, they have white blood in them. That I don't believe has to do with whites been smarter but rather that growing up in white families may be more condusive to success than growing up in African American households.

Again, I'm not against blacks (wouldn't make sense as I'm one) but just offering a possible solution

Shopping for clothes isn't fun (yes, I'm a girl and no, I don't like to shop).

All sports are boring to watch.

Trump is the worst president to have ever been elected. Not so much quote on quote "unpopular," opinion but many still disagree. He's a racist and America can do better.

A little bit of pineapple on a well made burger, can actually make it taste even better.

Netflix is trash and totally overrated
I'm inclined to agree. It started out really good, imo. OintnB and HoC times was when Netflix was at its best. Its original content was generally high quality and very entertaining. The films and series they acquired the rights to were really interesting too; a lot of timeless blockbusters, critically acclaimed series and/or evergreens of television. When I made my Netflix account years ago, they had a collection of films that I had always wanted to watch but never did, lots of interesting documentaries or highly successful tv series. Nowadays, they've traded quality for quantity. Most of the Netflix originals are uninspired and clichéd, countless run of the mill teen dramas, some with a politically correct twist, like a LGBT main character. 'One Day AT A Time' comes to mind which reminds me a lot of 'Full House' where every episode feels like a 'Very Special Episode', complete with social issue throughout the episode and ending in an almost preachy monologue about what is socially acceptable and progressive and what isn't. Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty liberal and wouldn't call myself conservative. But when it's that on the nose, I'm almost tempted to label it propaganda.

It really does seem as though Netflix just throws money at anyone who can write a half-arsed screenplay; the fact that they collaborated with Gwyneth to make a documentary series about her ridiculous company should tell you something.

Well I think there are good shows like House of Cards, The Rain, and Black Mirror.

i have always had more enemies than friends. i have always been hated not loved
those who are against my death have to lie to themselves to have self esteem
the human race are destined to become extinct because they don't know when to stop being evil or why
the more examples i have of avoidable suicidal feelings that are only unavoidable because the human race are monsters the more i know i can never ever live in safety

I was going to post the same. I am one of the last people who still uses Netflix's DVD service (hey, I'm a quasi-luddite) along with the streaming. Aside from tv and some decent original programming (I loved Tiger King), Netflix's streaming film selection is shite, their documentary and drama list is garbage. Kanopy is a much better service if you're interested in foreign films, docs, and indie movies. Most libraries/schools in North America offer it.

COVID is a hoax. It's all planned. Please don"t bash this Conspiracy Theorist.I've been alienated by everyone in my life by my beliefs that I've held for decades and just can't shake, no matter how hard I try.

It is my opinion that the entire human race is a virus and it seems like most of the people on this site and others like it are those who recognize the parasitic nature of the human race, but have chosen not to be parasites themselves. If all of humanity was wiped out right this instant, it would be the best thing to ever happen in our world.

The UK Ministry of Defense (MOD) knowingly give UK soldiers Modafinil pills during wars with side effects that caused anxiety, agitation, trouble sleeping (insomnia) mental/mood changes (such as confusion, depression, hallucinations, rare thoughts of suicide. The the UK general public wondered why so many UK soldiers are committing suicide and living on the streets with mental health problems.

Edit: Easy to blame PTSD

I think the BLM protests are admirable but stupid. Barely out of lockdown and with a second wave arguably on the way and hordes of angry protestors gather in one place.
It is possible to be righteously angry about a genuine cause and fucking ignorantly stupid at the same time. We spent months on video calls behind closed doors and suddenly this is acceptable?
