Music is the only thing which I can rely on to stimulate me,

Hole - Live Through This
Husker Du - New Day Rising
Lucinda Williams - Car Wheels On A Gravel Road
Nirvana - In Utero
Sonic Youth - Sister
Fugazi- 13 songs
Soundgarden- Badmotorfinger
Alice In Chains - Dirt
Black Sabbath - Paranoid/Vol 4

I'm a 26 yr old gay lad and always find it hard to relate music wide to people my age,

Especially if I go to a gay bar - kinda get torn apart by Madonna and Kylie fans haha. Wish there were venues near me which catered to my tastes,

I like this thread :)

Five Finger Death Punch-Brighter Side Of Grey :heart::heart::heart::heart:
I think I may have posted this already …. but I love this song.

I'm writing this in case I'm gone tomorrow
I'm writing this in case I've moved along
There's something that I hope you'll remember
That life is not a game, it's a song

So take the best parts of me
Locked away without the keys
And know that I'm forever by your side

When the lights go down
Know that I am never far away
When the sun burns out
I'll be waiting on the brighter side of grey

If you're reading this, I know you're feeling sorrow
If you're hearing this, I know you're probably scared
Just know that all the things you want are borrowed
And all you get to keep is all you've shared

So wipe away the tears for me
Know that we've made history
Remember no one ever really dies

When the lights go down
Know that I am never far away
When the sun burns out
I'll be waiting on the brighter side of grey

When the lights go down
Know that I am never far away
When the sun burns out
I'll be waiting on the brighter side of grey

"I'm Alright"

If you're reading this
Then I finally did it
I'm sorry I didn't say goodbye
There was no time
Understand I was stressed
Living day to day was hard
And I gave it my best
But there was nothing left
For me in this world
To convince me to stay
Now I'm long gone away
Don't you do that
Don't you start your tears
Just remember all the time we spent over the years
Never cry
Never think bad to me
What's done is done and that's the way it had to be
I need you to be strong for me
Say your prayer everyday in my memory
I'm sure it's helping me
To earn my feathers
To get some wings
And a halo and a harp and angelic things
And even though I'm gone And outta sight
Never worry about me
I'm alright

[x2]
I'm alright
And if I should die
Don't blame yourself and keep it locked inside
I'm alright
And everytime you cry don't breakdown
Just keep me inside in your mind

You only saw the outside
Never knew what I was feeling
Now everyday you lay in bed staring at the ceiling
But you don't see me no more
You can fill your heart with memories
And things from before
But everybody got a purpose in life
To survive when the sunrise
You gonna live to see another day
Just don't follow me and live your life your own way
I'll be in set and if you forget
Get the picture with the cord around my neck
See me underground and I'm stuck
But it's cool that's where I wanna be
Keep the drama in hand but outta sight
And know that
I'mma be alright

[x2]
I'm alright
And if I should die
Don't blame yourself and keep it locked inside
I'm alright
And everytime you cry don't breakdown
Just keep me inside in your mind

Catchily formatted for the radio ...why am I ashamed to fall for soothing voices, pink hair & twitching bodies without a choregraphy under no electrical shock.

Not disliking nevada’ish desert skies : the sun light of California is one of my fondest memories.
This song suits my current mood so well. The whole album does.

Neat

Drawn by this other album that was once important to me
