[Venting] It seems like a lot of people including myself are just on the bad end of evolution

When all is said and done, humans are just animals with anxiety. The laws of the jungle applies to us as much as it does to any other animal. Just from my own life I'm really just awful at most things in life, in a larger stage the process of evolutionary progress for the improvment of a species is the continual scarping off the aspects that are sub-optimal. Not that this applies to every suicidal person, most of which suffer from psycological forces beyon their control or just cannot see the bigger picture because of it. But everything considered I think that it applies to me, so honestly isn't this just the way of the world?

Sorry for the dumb rant but it's 4:30 and I don't think I can sleep If I don't put this somwhere outside my head.

Evolution has to do with self-preservation and reproduction, and its main objective is the survival of the species. So there's a window that allows for unempathetic individuals who leech on the benefits of their society while contributing nothing to the well-being of their community, to pass on their genes. Thus, all that it takes to participate in evolution is to be manipulative enough or straight out abusive.
Evolution doesn't have any inherent value, it's just a mechanism that allows biological organisms to stick around longer in this world.

And before you say you don't have redeeming qualities: the fact that you made this post, worried about the impact you have on the improvement of humanity, and the fact that you said you're sorry at the end, shows me that you are not some self-absorbed asshole, but that you feel undervalued in this giant apparatus called life. So you are very sensitive person, and if I can see it, there will be more people that will see it too; don't despair.

Your rant is not dumb at all. People say things like... Just get a job or calm down. "Just a job" doesn't necessarily pay all the bills and try calming a person down who has inherited anxiety problems. Many people are not capable of making large somes of money. They have great qualities in other aspects of life and don't deserve to be mistreated. There is much competition and life isn't at all easy. Nothing you said was dumb. I admire your honesty and self-disclosure.

Yes that is true but there is more than meets the eye as underneath this layer of flesh is our conscious awareness which is not the body and brain. Given that this underlying consciousness seems to be a slave to the flesh in my experience.
