This may be a thread already but my search engine isn’t working and I want discussion Now because my own mum has screwed me over tonight.
Mind is..
Chance by Big Country
Wish that you were here by Florence and the Machine
Anything Kate Bush
Nothing breaks like a heart - miley Cyrus

I have more as well but hoping people will interact with me right now (sorry for sounding desperate but I’m in a complex situation and can’t overcome survival instinct)

Radiohead - "Pyramid Song" and "Videotape" (the latter of which inspired my username)
Neutral Milk Hotel - "Two-Headed Boy, Pt. 2"
Sufjan Stevens - "Fourth of July"
Bon Iver - "22 (OVER S∞∞N)"
World's End Girlfriend - "Birthday Resistance" (it's instrumental but has a perfect "grand finale" sort of vibe)
Pretty much any cut from Nick Drake's album Pink Moon

A Classic. Favourite band. I was introduced to heavy metal with Metallica.

This song can pierce a soul when they are in a dark place. Good choice.

Haven't listened to this in a long time. Stayed away from it to be honest...too dark but i will listen to it with you.
Thanks. It's one of my faves. Makes me be at peace with the ctb idea whenver I listen to it.

No Roads Left is a great Linkin Park song too.

I just remembered a song from my childhood by Brad Paisley: When I Get Where I'm Going. I've been listening to that a lot lately and it's soothing. This world really sucks and it'll be nice when I finally leave it. I also like to listen to Linkin Park and NF because they sing/rap about depression, suicidal thoughts, etc.

But there's one specific song that I've always pictured playing when I die. I don't think I would die to a song, but the idea pops in my head. Fly Me to the Moon by Frank Sinatra. I know it's a happy song about love, but to me it's always seemed melancholic. Hm.

Just listened to that Linkin Park song good lyrics and the country song reminds me of Kenny Chesney - Don´t blink not because of the lyrics but because basically all country singers sound the same (not a bad thing they sound amazing) but the 'dont blink' is so true I felt like I just blinked and now I am transformed into this body of a 26 year old man where did all the years go?

What I'll never find by W.A.S.P
The lyrics off the second verse make me wish I had someone i love with me when I decide to go .
"Did you call my name
I will be leaving from this dream
Can you feel the pain
Slowly leaving me
Will you hold my hand
And ease me to the other side
Am I looking for what
I'll never find"
