Hello!

Since many, many years I am seeking for ways to end my life. I tried to fight against this wish with a lot of therapy and medication, but the wish remains. I tried to OD with sleeping pills, painkillers... but apparently the dose was not high enough and I didn’t have something, which would stop me from vomiting. I ordered for a lot of money, pills from oversee, which never arrived and it was a scam.

since I suffer from borderline, my body is used to survive a long time without food, so I was wondering if anyone could give me an advice, if this could be an option; to just stop drinking and eating? Or any other help is highly appreciated! I am more than ready to do anything, what might be required to finally find peace and leave!

I think it's one of the worst ways to die because there's a lot of agony and pain in it.

If I were in your shoes, I'd take a look at the resources section and find a better method. SN and partial hanging seem to be quite popular.

I think people die by forced starvation, that is in famine, drought, and the like, or being mistreated.

But to force yourself is really hard to do, although people do become malnourished and die from anorexia.

But I think it will be hard to will yourself to not eat when food is available.

I gotta say that this method is probably one of the hardest ones out there. Are you sure you’re gonna be able to not eat for that long? I feel like SI would make the person eat something anyways:/

By not eating, I would suffer the pain of hunger, but wouldn’t need to actively do anything- as in like hanging myself etc.

is there no chance any where realistically to buy Nembutal or something similar? I would also fly to the other side of the world.

thank you!

You could fly to Mexico and get it there or gamble with money and try to get N from C or whatever seller still has it

I am not sure, about anything right now again, in my life... unfortunately... the only thing I am sure about, I want this to stop!!! Thank you!!

That’s exactly what I thought... Mexico ... but I am worried, how to find the right people to trust, to buy it.

Have you read the resources thread? There are similar methods to N like SN. But you gotta do some research

Rather than full-on starvation, I believe counting calories and restricting my food intake like an anorexic does would prove most effective over time. I remember being afflicted with anorexia in my early teens and even though I was dangerously underweight I don’t recall there being any pain from it. It eventually reached a point where not eating felt relatively euphoric, and I no longer experienced traditional hunger pangs.

I must admit I've restricted my eating tremendously from what it used to be, lost about 3 stone (from c.16 stone) in about 9 months, and I don't get hunger pangs like I used to. I can easily go 2 days with no food at all and not even think about it.

The more you get used to it, the easier it becomes.

I guess our ancestors and therefore what our bodies are evolved to didn't eat 3 square meals a day at breakfast, lunch, and dinner time.

They might go a week with nothing, then gorge when they found food.

And none of them were overweight :)

Goddamn! Yet another thread about this!

Get it through your heads! If starvation were easy we would all be doing it and there would be few or none on the forums cause we would all be dead!
It would be so ideal if it were quick and easy cause there would be little that others could do to control , regulate, outlaw etc it. It would be an perfect option that we would all have at our disposal. But as reality would have it, it can take upwards of a year or more to die and its thoroughly unpleasant! Now please STOP POSTING ABOUT IT already! And before you post about any methods , make sure to take the time to search the forum to make sure there arnt like dozens of other threads covering the EXACT same method!

Peace

Well, if you want to feel better and your brain to function properly then it's best not to starve it. Just sayin'!

Peace and welcome to SS

I think it's doable. Actually there are people dying by voluntary starvation, even young people. The main problem is that it requires a lot of will power and time*. It's very hard to take the process to an end without someone else noticing that something is going on; the risks to be rescued/hospitalized/feeded by force, put in a psych ward are really high. Also it requires you to feel extremely "detached" from the world and emotionally neutral (I mean really detached, (at least almost) like in "psychogenic death"): if you are still able to feel angry/excited/whatever you will never succeed, IMO. By the way it can be done, there are people doing it also for spiritual reasons (search for Sallekhana or Santhera in Jainism).

I've tried to avoid food and then also water for a couple of weeks. After a few days you don't feel hungry anymore, actually I didn't have any discomfort of any kind (to be honest I felt better than usual). When dehydration starts to kick in it's more noticeable though, not painful but it can be really annoying (for a lot of people thirst it's totally unbearable). After a couple of weeks I felt extremely tired and as dehydration progressed my heart started to send some "weird signals". Also my brain was clearly slowing down, I felt a little confused as in a dream-like state. *I had to stop because even though I do have the chance to be totally alone for very long periods of time I had to deal with some unexpected duties/persons/stuff.

Personally I think I will combine prolonged starvation/dehydration with another method, very likely SN. Actually I would procede sith S/D alone if possible but, once again, it's extremely difficult not to be bothered for months.

Thank you very much for sharing!
I am considering to leave the city or country, to avoid people realizing and possible hospitalization.

I am also trying to evaluate if I could be brave enough to jump. I get the craziest idea, when I feel so lost and hopeless. Such e.g. when there are paid killer and murderer out there (dark net?)- wouldn’t there be also people helping me to execute me plans and doing it for me?! (Not talking about euthanasia)

In the U.S. and other countries it’s apparently possible to hire a killer to kill another person. Now, I was wondering if there wouldn’t be people, who also help others to die and assist them and provide e.g. the needed products, to do so. But this might be not a reasonable thought?!

You can also take a trip to "the wrong country" and insult their leader. They'll take care for everything else XD BTW, yes, "not reasonable thoughts".

Yes I've wondered this too. Like hire a nitrogen tank and mask, the person is with you while you pass, and then they take the equipment away.

It's undetectable in an autopsy (unless they get Quincy ME and Dr House in to do it), - sudden natural death - and so insurance pays out to family.

Must be out there somewhere.

I’ve tried multiple times to starve/dehydrate myself with the recent one being during last week. I gave up because I had a headache (I’ve migraine).

Since you want to die my advice for you is to make an attempt and see how it goes. If you feel you can bear the body weakness and pain then continue to do so. If you feel you can’t then stop and try to look for a quick method.

It is an option, but I would not recommend it, especially if your body is anywhere near decently healthy, or not already close to death.

I think it would be difficult to starve oneself to death when you with a decently healthy body.

I am not angry about the method. You dont seem to understand the words and reasoning on them. I am simply tired of seeing new threads made on it when this has been covered ad nauseam.
And its not that I dont approve of the method either. If someone wants to take a year or 2 to slowly starve themselves to death that's their call, but people are posting about this, questioning, ASKING US whether or not its a good idea. So I simply gave my input on the matter and pointed out that I'm tired of seeing posts on it.

Is that so hard for you to understand? Am I free to feel as I feel?

How about dehydration and not just starving? Absolutely no intake, including water. Wouldn't that kill you in a week or so? The will required is something else entirely, but biologically speaking, we can't last without any form of water intake for over a week. 4 months without food, 4 days without water and 4 minutes without oxygen - will kill the average human being. Give or take some considering your current fitness and hydration levels, environment, how much you exert yourself during this period and so on. But a week is all I think would be needed without water to CTB.

I read about this recently which an elderly woman did who had cancer and was in a nursing home. It took her ten days without food or water. It's so sad someone has to do this drastic method when they are already suffering so much.

I read about a man who's family chose terminal dehydration after his stroke left him paralyzed. Took him 7 days to breathe his last. Terminal dehydration is apparently uncomfortable for the first couple of days, but after that you're mostly euphoric until you aren't anymore. I'm at the end of day 1 of my attempt now, bad headaches and backaches.

I very much doubt "uncomfortable" is enough to describe it. I've never tried, but I imagine it's absolutely horrible. Maybe more mentally than physical, but still.

Yes I am. Nothing whatsoever goes in.

I've read differing views in this. Some say it's a very peaceful way to go. Look up terminal dehydration. In countries where euthanasia is not legal, terminally ill patients opt for terminal dehydration, and palliative care folks have said in interviews that the patients passed on without much pain or discomfort.
