" The end is near and I face my final curtain......"

Thanks Frank!

Well my last 24/36 hours is here and I will be departing tomorrow. I won't be doing a live feed as I will be resetting all my devices to ensure no links to this site are found.

Thank you for the company you have given me, there have been some laughs, some tears and a fair few flare ups! I have met some special people here, some who have already passed and some who are here and work to keep their heads above water.

Whatever the future is for you all, I hope it brings you what you want. Be good to each other here, it's OK to disagree on things - just don't let it fester. Regardless of who we are and what our opinions are, I believe we have more in common than what differentiates us. Focus on those. Thanks to the Mods for their continued work in keeping this place up and safe.

Too many people to single out in my last words. But if people knew they were special to me, then you are. I thank you for allowing a tired old man to ramble.

Mods - I will be self banning before I clear my devices.

You'll be missed, @Stan. Wish I could've been here longer to get to know you, it was pretty apparent when joining you were a paradigm to this community.

Thank you for clearing your devices. This community is so vital to so many people, we don't need to have a media presence from this.

Probably take that scythe and shove it clean up his a- I mean, may you find peace and Godspeed. I can honestly say you are one member/stranger I will miss. See you on the otherside, @Stan

@Stan, in the past few months you have gotten a lot of love and respect from so many. You are one of those few people who gave so much while knowing that you'll leave soon. You will always be remembered and you'll be dearly missed. Stan lived and laughed and loved and left!

I had been dreading this moment, I know we haven’t interacted much but that should not prevent one from looking up to someone. It is very hard to see you go. It’s like a safety net is leaving. You had been protecting, guiding and helping this community. This place will never be the same to me. I am weeping while writing this. I wish you well, hope you find your peace.

Thanks for all the great info you have compiled and lucidly laid out here, an invaluable resource for those on that path. (not forgetting the memes of course!) Goodluck, peace and all that jazz...

^^how I imagine BPD_LE secretly feels, realising the magnitude of the situation.

^^ SS regulars trying to keep up with the nonsense in your absence.

Don't get the procedure wrong now Stan - you'll never 'live' it down. Remember your fpoon and to swallow and all that.

That's my best attempt at mustering some humour in your honour. It will probably be my last ever - all my funny bones are broken. Have you signed a donor card so I can get one of yours when you're gone?

In all seriousness though it's incredible how you've dedicated the last of your time to helping others and done so in such good cheer; ironically, a life affirmingly inspirational thing to see. It's bittersweet to know you'll have escaped the clutches of the demiurge.

(edited to correct tenses because you're not gone yet).

We haven’t interacted much, but I can tell your presence will be greatly missed and remembered more than most. Oh I just hate when a good member passes, members come and go but it’ll feel even more like graveyard without you. There’s nothing else I can say, just hope your suffering ends and all your worries washed away. Whatever happens, Peace be upon you.

Wanted to post more, but I don't think I can. 1- for fear of it turning into a post hijack. 2- I know there's some on this thread that actually don't like me, but that's whatever. 3- because I've had about 5 of what the gif I posted showed and I'm not planning to stop anytime soon and I know you've all better to think of, remember and read, than my sorry ass stuff, so I think I'm just going to lurk until I pass out. Apologies to any and all. @Stan This isn't due to your post, though I'd be lying if I said it didn't make me think and reflect. Truly will miss you, even though I'm still pretty new here and we've only spoken, directly, briefly. I can clearly see many others feel the same, even those I've fought/argued with.

All in all, gotta say that it's nice to not see anyone bickering on this thread. Sometimes, it takes just that one moment to occur, to make us forget the bullshit and pull together and I think that speaks volumes, in and of itself. Onward to lurking, for me, now. Side note- this has been stuck in my head since first reading this thread. Enjoy or dislike me, as any of you choose.

This is the last place I expected to see Greta Thunberg gifs.

It wouldn't be SS without such a question, would it? There's always one...
No one else has so I'll take the liberty and refer you firstly to Stan's masterwork:

and secondly to his (and others') reactions to these kinds of posts:

From the evidence that's always been provided and on hand.....clearly he (Stan) was talking about sugar water. Apologies, couldn't help it and judging from Stan's normal posts.....I'm sure the spirit of what I just said would be understandable. I also apologize, if it wasn't taken as such.

No one else has so (at the risk of sounding mean) I'll take the liberty and refer you firstly to Stan's masterwork:

and secondly to his (and others') reactions to these kinds of posts:

A negative reaction to a question that is a good idea to ask, there's always one...

I know its SN, he has said that in the past. Do you want everybody to assume he is going to use every drug, dose, and protocol listed in that post? Of course not, which is why it is understandable to ask what exact method would be used, step by step. People ask that to increase the success of future attempts. And that reduces suffering. Seems important.

Maybe just let the person being asked the question answer it?

I had a real fear that my last thread would cause angst, please don't bicker, not really how I want it to end. More than happy for people to have a joke here, rather go with a smile on my face than gloom in my heart.

Doing a stat dose

AE Buccastem
200mg of tramadol for pain relief and a bit of mental well being
otc antacid

20gm of SN in 50ml of water (making a few glasses - will drink them till the job is done - no coming back, no failure)
